The vision of the Pawling Community Garden is to create a place for people of all ages and backgrounds to join together in the simple shared experience of growing food. It is our belief that there is something inherently good about accessibility to healthy food and connecting with our neighbors. More than “just a garden,” it is a hub for education, collaboration, and environmental stewardship.
While our mission is to bring our community together through gardening, it is, however, much more than that. The PCG provides a space for all of us to plant seeds of inclusion, to cultivate active participation across cultures, abilities, and means. We have a strong desire to bridge gaps across our beautifully diverse community. Our intent is to create a garden where everyone — regardless of age, race, gender identity, religious beliefs or background — feels valued, safe, and connected while celebrating our differences.
We are the Pawling Community Garden. “Where Neighbors Grow Together.”

Volunteer

Lots of new friendships were made as volunteers helped each other build this garden. The PCG is more than just growing healthy food. It’s about sharing stories, lending a helping hand, and learning new things together. It’s about making our community a kinder and stronger Pawling. Please consider getting involved, be it on a committee or in the garden.

Let’s grow together.
